Peer support is powerful and effective. When people use their own experiences to assist another in transition, a powerful transfer of shared experiences can be life-changing.
The Fund’s Veteran & Unit Reunions Program brings critically wounded, ill, or injured service members and veterans together to provide camaraderie, tools, and education as a vital part of their recovery. Through informational sessions and expert speakers, the reunions also offer resources and support on relevant topics, including post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries, finance and budgeting, wellness, and other educational subjects. Whether getting together in a local area with other veterans or reuniting specific units, our staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing a therapeutic, positive, and healing experience.
